Who is an orthodontist?
Orthodontics is a branch of dentistry that specializes in the diagnosis, interception and treatment of dentofacial anomalies, often referred to as malocclusions. To become a certified orthodontist, a qualified dentist must successfully complete a 2-3 year full-time orthodontic residency program recognized by the Ordre des dentistes du Québec and the Royal Canadian College of Dentistry.
